WPRZ 88.1 FM is the Piedmont area’s local Christian Radio Station. WPRZ-FM is owned and operated by Praise Communications, Inc. and is licensed with the Federal Communication Commission as a non-commercial educational station. Praise Communications, Inc. is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization founded in 1984 by Steve and Sally Buchanan who continue to direct the ministry today. As well as covering the Piedmont area, WPRZ’s signal goes around the world over wprz.org. We broadcast a variety of programs, news, and information from a Biblical world view. Our music reflects local music tastes including Christian Country, Contemporary, and Bluegrass segments. Our slogan is “Glorifying God and Growing Believer.” Help us proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, nurture and help believers grow in their relationship with God, and strengthen the local church.
