The Warrenton Chorale
The Warrenton Chorale is a volunteer musical organization which has been in existence since 1953. The Chorale was originally composed of adult singers from area churches brought together to form a community choir to celebrate the Christmas season. Today, the Warrenton Chorale draws singers from a much broader geographic area--individuals who love to sing all types of music from the traditional to modern. In 1967, the Youth Chorale was formed and in 1975 the Handbell Choir was added. These three groups are now part of our musical tradition. The Chorale is under the direction of Dr. John Maerhofer. The Warrenton Chorale is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and is able to accept tax-deductible donations from the public. Donations enable us to present high quality music to the entire community.
