The Shenandoah National Park Trust

The Shenandoah National Park Trust touches every aspect of the park we all enjoy. We help protect what you love about Shenandoah National Park, while creating programs to inspire the next generation of national park stewards. As the official philanthropic partner to Shenandoah National Park, we invest in programs and initiatives that help ensure Shenandoah remains a crown jewel of the Park Service, an economic driver for the region and a national treasure for all to enjoy - for generations to come. Our programs and initiatives include: 1) “Step Up to the Great Outdoors”, a day adventure in the Park for children; 2) protective cages for native tree saplings; and, 3) installation of bear-proof food storage lockers in Shenandoah’s campsites to protect our bears and our campers. Help us protect and preserve the Shenandoah National Park.

Wishlist

• $20 will provide lunch for four children while they enjoy a day in the park as part of our “Step Up to the Great Outdoors” program.

• $50 will provide materials to build 10 tree cages to protect native tree saplings from hungry deer

• $100 will provide 10 pair of work gloves for volunteers who help to ensure the 500 miles of trails you love in Shenandoah are in top condition

• $1000 installs a bear-proof food storage locker at Shenandoah’s campsites to protect our bear – and our campers
