Taj Global Understanding

Taj Global Understanding is a nonprofit organization created to promote global understanding through short-term service opportunities on community development programs in host communities outside the United States. Taj Global works in conjunction with non-governmental organizations in the host communities to identify human and economic development projects and to assist local people with those projects by providing volunteers to assist with these projects. This volunteer tourism program promotes global understanding through cultural exchange programs in which participants experience the culture of the host country through various cultural activities and by residing with host families during their stay in the host country. This work travel program promotes global understanding through one year educational exchange programs.
