Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services

Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties. A range of services are provided for infants and youth, including developmental and behavioral programs. For adults, services include substance abuse, mental health, and intellectual and disabled initiatives. Aging services include senior centers and elder housing units. The nutrition programs at the five county senior centers have provided an average of 31,252 meals per year to 282 seniors for the last 3 years!

Senior centers provide a place for recreation, conversation, education, and a hot noon meal. They also provide an access point for our other services. Centers are fully accessible to persons with disabilities, and we offer limited transportation as needed. No fees are charged for this service; therefore, local contributions are essential to sustain this program. Each center relies on only one paid, part-time employee to operate four days a week. Our dedicated volunteers supply the manpower needed to keep the programs strong and active.
