Northern Piedmont cultivates philanthropic giving by setting up and managing funds for individuals, organizations and families. The Foundation provides fund stewardship and direct oversight. NPCF believes legacy giving benefits our region for the long term and we strive to support today’s issues as we develop sustainable funding for the future.

The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation currently manages over 100 funds that in 2018-19 generated almost a million dollars back into our counties for vital community support. Our five community grants are open to nonprofits through an online application process. These donor funds and grants assist our charitable organizations with budget support as well as networking opportunities and partnerships. Our nonprofits provide critical services for our citizens and counties. The Foundation supports our young people with a scholarship program for both college and credential educational opportunities. Northern Piedmont Community Foundation facilitates Give Local Piedmont, a one-day giving campaign, which has raised 4.6 million dollars for our communities over the past six years.
