Rescuing and rehabilitating abused animals
Middleburg Humane Foundation
We operate a 4.5-acre farm shelter located in Marshall, Virginia. It is our goal to provide a haven for abused, neglected, and “at risk” animals, both large and small. On average we care for 60 animals. In addition to the high number of cats and dogs, we provide care for horses and various other livestock. Most come to us from cruelty or neglectful situations; therefore, they require intensive daily behavioral and medical care. After much needed nurturing and medical care, our animals are placed for adoption. We are reaching our goal of a humane and responsible community through outreach programs of assistance, education, and where necessary, intervention. Being part of a shelter that offers the rescue and rehabilitation of animals is the most wonderfully rewarding work in the world. We all love what we do here, and we put 110% effort into the animals and the shelter every day. Please stop by and meet your new best friend today!
