Fauquier CADRE

We are a community coalition of concerned people whose mission is to prevent the use and abuse of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs by Fauquier County’s youth by increasing awareness and delivering evidenced-based substance use prevention programs to hundreds of students annually. We are made up of citizens, leaders of other youth serving nonprofits, judiciary and law enforcement officials, educators, parents, and counselors. Our message is positive. By getting involved in the lives of our youth as a community, we can give them the safety net they deserve - the chance to grow into adulthood with a sense of control over the things they face. We believe that every young person has the right to a safe and healthy environment. We further believe that the misuse/abuse of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs is everyone’s concern and requires a uniform response from all citizens. Help us promote positive alternatives to enhance self-esteem, healthy lifestyles and family-centered activities.
