Culpeper Literacy Council

We have been a successful resource for adult education for 30 years. Our mission is to provide, promote, and coordinate literacy services for adults 18 years of age or older in the Culpeper community. We can assist students who wish to learn English, work towards United States citizenship, or who want to improve basic math and reading skills. We offer Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes for adults who would like to strengthen their basic literacy skills such as reading, writing or math. This tutoring can address GED requirements, strengthen test scores for college eligibility, and prepare adults to meet specific job requirements. Our Citizenship Class is a short term prep class geared towards adults who are interested in becoming United States citizens. English classes are provided for non-native English speakers to assist them in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Courses range from beginner to advanced levels, and cover all aspects of language study. Help us tutor adult learners!
