Be The Change Foundation

Our mission is to empower women to build a brighter future for themselves, their families and their communities. We empower them to see opportunities in the face of obstacles, build on those opportunities and overcome those obstacles; we strengthen them by providing training, education, resources such as small business enterprise loans, and creating accountability through mentoring support; and inspire them to set a powerful example for future generations.

Be the Change Foundation was founded by Marianne Clyde after learning that a large percentage of children in her community were struggling with hunger. Beginning with a partnership with Generosity Feeds to assemble 10,000 meals for the hungry in her community, she realized that simply feeding the hungry wasn't the answer. Real change happens when you empower people to change the situation they are in. This is how Be the Change Foundation was born. This is how real change happens.
