The Arc of North Central VA

The Arc of North Central Virginia is a local chapter of the world’s largest community-based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve the 5-county area of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock. We're committed to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their full potential through building community awareness, acceptance and capacity for support, ensuring that they are valued as classmates, coworkers, neighbors, citizens and friends. Our services include offering family consults, hosting family programs and events, developing local informational resources, and partnering with local organizations building connections and capacity for support.

• $250 funds 100 Resource Packets for families 

• $500 funds a community-wide family social event

• $600 funds one Board member's attendance at the State or National Arc Convention

• $3,000 provides 5-hours per week of administrative support
